Music and Cinema - A Romance of the Arts

This is a two-part event: Lecture at the Library & MET OPERA LIVE IN HD / CENDRILLON at the Sebastopol Rialto Part 1: Arts Lecture at the Sebastopol Library, April 26, 5pm A profound lecture at the library will take place prior to the event at the Cinema. At the lecture we will delve deep into hallmark styles of art. This program brings in a phenomenal expert, Kayleen Asbo, to explain and elude to the greatness of this work: the motifs, movements, cultural importance, and much more. Guest Lecturer, Kayleen Asbo, Ph.D is an acclaimed cultural historian, musician, writer and teacher who passionately weaves together myth, psychology, history, and the arts with experiential learning. Part 2: Screening at the Sebastopol Rialto, May 2nd, 7pm Participants will then experience the works through an incredible viewing experience at the Rialto Cinema in Sebastopol.
