    Come help explore how citizens, businesses, and city government can work together to:

    *  Increase compost & recycling diversion from businesses, events & schools
    *  Reduce single use take-out food packaging, including straws
    *  Support the creation of living wage and good green jobs
    *  Bring back local composting operations to Sonoma County

    Sonoma County Waste Management Agency, Recology, Renewable Sonoma, Zero Waste Action-Sonoma County, SCS Engineers, 350 Sonoma, Sonoma County Local Task Force on Integrated Waste Management, North Bay Jobs with Justice, Teamsters Local 665, Sonoma Food Runners, Green Mary Zero Waste Events, Cittaslow Sebastopol, Screamin' Mimi's, Handline Restaurant, Analy High School and Orchard View School Compost/Recyling Teams.

    The goal of Zero Waste is a systematic redesigning and careful management of products, packaging, and processes to minimize volume and toxicity of waste al all stages.  In a Zero Waste system, all resources are recovered without landfilling or burning.  In other words:  No Burn, No Bury, No Toxics.
